This guitar is a perfect example of the model, this Collings sounds Incredible and is so well balanced and is not as dark as you might think Sound wise, there is a lot of colour in its tone a contributing factor to this may be the fact that it uses matched quartersawn Honduran mahogany throughout.
This beautiful OM-1 Features a Ebony fingerboard, bridge, pins and headcap. The Tortoise body binding, Style 1 purfling and dot fingerboard inlays are a really nice Touch I liked the Open-back Waverly tuners.
I can see this guitar being a exceptional singing and record tool.
This guitar is in very good condition but does have some small marks here in there, there are a few spots where the lacquer has reacted with mahogany and shows up a golden colour is very similar to the way a 70s Gibson with a mahogany body and a clear finish over the top reacts, it presents itself as what look like gold flicks personally I like the look
Comes with original case which has superficial wear.
