As many of you know, I have a Weakness for cool Guitars with a great story this Guitar has a great story and is super cool He’s a little glimpse at this Guitars story.

The story is from the Guitars owner Jerry.

Joe Pall, a talented luthier, started his career at Maton before deciding to go solo in the early 1960s. Using the molds he took with him, he established his own business in St Kilda, Melbourne. On April 20th, 1966, at Festival Hall in Melbourne, Bob Dylan played a Pall guitar after his beloved Martin was damaged. Intrigued, I visited Joe later that year and had the opportunity to test out some paul guitars, including the one Dylan had played. I felt that the one that Dylan had played was not as good as the other one I had played so i bought it for around $650 from memory. However, I got him to add the distinctive copper scratch plate from Dylan's guitar onto mine.

In 1970, I embarked on a what became a three-year backpacking Odessey, travelling off the beaten track, with guitar in tow everywhere I went. Through places like Afghanistan, Iran and North Africa, the Pall never missed a beat.

On my travels in California I met up with K.C. Douglas, a bona fide southern blues legend who I photographed playing this guitar.

i’ve included This photo as well as a photo of Dylan playing the other Paul guitar.

The guitar itself is truly fantastic, exuding the classic sounds of a 1960s instrument. It boasts a heavy V-profile neck shape that, personally, I find incredibly comfortable to play. And the guitar is in played but very nice condition!
