Crafted by master builder Dave Nichols, this Charvel guitar showcases a unique combination of Redwood timbers, an Ebony fingerboard, and a distinctive reverse headstock, making it a standout piece in both appearance and construction.
Known as "Red Dave" due to his striking red hair and beard, Dave Nichols brought his expertise to the Charvel/Jackson Custom Shop in 2005 following a successful 16-year tenure at the Fender Custom Shop, where he advanced to the prestigious title of master builder in 2006.
With a passion for woodworking that dates back to his high school days, Nichols has always enjoyed working with his hands and experimenting with various materials. While he had never built a guitar before, his natural talent and woodworking skills caught the attention of the Fender Custom Shop in 1989. Over the years, Nichols honed his craft, particularly excelling in intricate inlay work, and when an opportunity arose at Charvel/Jackson in 2005, he was more than prepared to take on new challenges and showcase his talent.
This Charvel guitar, crafted by the skilled hands of Dave Nichols, represents a harmonious blend of craftsmanship, creativity, and a deep-rooted passion for woodworking and music.
