Bringing back a rare gem from Fender's history, the Made in Japan International Color Series revives a vibrant and beloved collection that made a brief appearance over four decades ago. Originally introduced in 1981 for less than a year, the International Color collection featured '70s-style appointments paired with a fresh array of colors named after exotic and alluring locations around the world. These unique hues have since become sought-after by collectors for their distinct beauty and scarcity. Now, in a limited run, the Made in Japan International Color Series combines the vintage Fender aesthetic with Japanese craftsmanship to create a truly special and transcontinental treasure.

Diverging from the traditional design, these guitars feature resonant basswood bodies, 9.5" radius maple or rosewood fingerboards, and medium jumbo frets to cater to more adventurous playing styles. The '70s "U" shape neck mirrors the original specs, complete with a convenient "Bullet" style truss rod nut, a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ mechanism, "F" Stamped T™ tuners, and even the serial number displayed on the headstock face. Equipped with vintage-style single-coil Strat® pickups and a synchronized tremolo system, these guitars deliver the iconic Fender tone and feel that players love.

Not only visually appealing, but these guitars also offer exceptional playability, making them a true delight for both the eyes and the hands.
