This custom-built Fender-style Partscaster brings together a mix of high-quality components and genuine vintage character. It features a Fender Japan neck paired with what appears to be a modified Fender body, originally finished in Sunburst and later refinished in Daphne Blue for that classic worn-in vibe.
At some stage, the body has been routed to accommodate a humbucker in the rear position, though this is cleanly hidden under the current pickguard configuration. The guitar also features a two-point tremolo system, likely sourced from a 1980s Stratocaster, offering smooth playability and solid tuning stability.
Under the hood, this one’s loaded with Australian-made Vertigo pickups (handcrafted in Brisbane), delivering rich tone, clarity, and punch that sits beautifully across a mix or live setup.
This is a great-playing, great-sounding instrument — ideal for players after a reliable workhorse Strat-style guitar that they can take anywhere without stressing about the odd mark or scratch. A perfect blend of function, feel, and personality.
