Up for grabs is a beautifully aged 1994 Fender American Vintage Reissue Telecaster, finished in classic Blonde. This one plays and sounds exactly as a good early-mid ’90s AVRI should. The neck isn’t the super-chunky profile you often see on ’52 reissues, but it still has that solid, reassuring feel that AVRI fans love.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows honest playwear with small nicks and chips throughout—nothing unexpected for a 30+ year-old instrument, and all purely cosmetic. The frets are in very good condition with minimal signs of use, and the guitar plays cleanly across the board.

One particularly interesting feature of this Tele is its backstory. While there’s no paperwork or documented proof, the previous owner claimed the guitar was used remotely to record a track for a David Bowie album, and that the B string was once changed by Keith Richards’ guitar tech. Whether myth or reality, it’s a great story to go with a great guitar.

The Tele comes in its original Fender hardshell case, but the original paperwork is no longer with it.

Key Features:

  • 1994 Fender American Vintage Reissue Telecaster
  • Classic Blonde finish
  • Comfortable mid-profile neck (not overly chunky for a ’52 style)
  • Original frets in great condition
  • Light cosmetic wear consistent with age
  • Interesting (but undocumented) Bowie / Keith Richards tech story
  • Comes with original Fender hardshell case

A brilliant example of ’90s Fender AVRI quality—plays great, sounds great, and has character for days.
