Here’s something a little different… and absolutely impossible to ignore.
This 2010 Fender USA Standard Stratocaster has been professionally refinished in-house by us at Classic Guitars & Amps in an outrageous one-off Heavy Orange Candy Metal Flake Burst finish — and the result is nothing short of spectacular. We wanted to create something that paid homage to classic vintage burst aesthetics while pushing things into full custom-shop hot rod territory… and this thing absolutely nails it.
The finish uses an ultra-heavy metal flake application — about as wild as you can go — giving the guitar incredible depth, movement, and sparkle under lights while still retaining a tasteful burst vibe rather than going completely over the top. Photos honestly don’t do it justice. In person, this Strat absolutely explodes with colour and attitude.
To complement the finish, the guitar has been fitted with a premium high-end aftermarket pickguard sourced from a specialist builder in the United States and custom ordered specifically for this project. The combination works perfectly and gives the guitar a truly bespoke feel.
Underneath the custom cosmetics is everything players love about the USA Standard Stratocaster platform — comfortable modern playability, versatile Strat tones, smooth tremolo performance, and dependable American Fender build quality. This guitar plays effortlessly and sounds every bit as good as it looks.
