The Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins (Left-Handed) is an exceptionally rare instrument and extremely difficult to find.
This example has had a Bigsby vibrato installed, finished in nickel plating, whereas the rest of the hardware remains gold-plated. The bridge has also been changed to match the Bigsby hardware. Importantly, no additional holes or structural modifications have been made to the guitar—these changes are purely cosmetic and fully reversible. It is likely that the instrument originally left the factory with a Cadillac “G” tailpiece.
The guitar features thumbnail side-loaded inlays and presents in very good overall condition, with little to no cosmetic wear. The frets show virtually no wear, indicating minimal playing time
The instrument comes complete with its original Gretsch hardshell case and appropriate paperwork.
