This is a Maton Mini Diesel 12-string, the perfect compact travel guitar with a big, rich voice. The Diesel variant is highly sought after and this one comes in a Martin hardshell case, offering far better protection than the standard gig bag.
The guitar was purchased new and repaired immediately by a local tech (not by us). It previously had a split in the back, which has been professionally repaired. I’ve personally known this guitar for the past six years, and in that entire time the repair has remained 100% stable with no movement, reopening, or structural issues. At this point it is purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect tone or playability at all.
A great little 12-string with that unmistakable Maton character — compact, comfortable, reliable, and full of life.
