This is a pretty special guitar - handmade in Tassie by a local called Tim. TC guitars use native Tasmanian woods for every guitar, making them pretty unique to play and admire. This guitar in particular is absolutely awesome - it's body is in the style of a Les Paul, but with all of TC Guitars' finesse added. It's clear that this instrument has had thought put into every detail - the tone and volume knobs, the truss rod cover, the tuning pegs, and more. The more you look at this guitar, the more intricacy you'll notice, right through to TC's signature twenty cent coin in the back of the headstock.
Playing this guitar is also great, it's got a lovely feel on the fretboard, a nice, smooth neck, and decent access to the upper frets. The neck is pretty big, so it's suited to bigger hands. The guitar is also quite heavy.
Being handmade, TC guitars are all unique, and it's important to note that there's no CNC involved and there will of course be human imperfections on them. Despite this, the guitar is in great condition and there's no cosmetic issues at play.
Each TC guitar comes with documentation of the unique building process and how it came to life on a USB stored in the included hard case. They also all feature Dylan pickups, giving them a great sound. Available now at Classic Guitars and Amps, come and have a look if you're interested!
